How was Ria created?

Ma incidentally found herself in a small theatre foyer...

The foyer had a small bar with drinks, a small stage, seats, tables, a glass wall, through which a set of stairs was visible, a small balcony... She sat in a corner and observed the place carefully. She was enchanted... she knew this place would be great for the three elves' performance... She spoke to the manager and they booked two days. They would have two free-entry performances! Ma was very happy. She liked free entry, because she wanted everyone to be able to come! (Later she found out that people usually don't respect "free")

As she stepped out of the foyer, she started thinking about creating a role born from the specific place. She started singing Ria's song and by the time she got home, she had completed sensual Ria's song and character. Ma knows few things about music... so, she went to Ko and Eu and shyly sang them the song. Ko and Eu smiled. Eu had a lot of work. She had to make Ma's simple tune full music. Ma was beside herself when she heard the final piece and, together, Ko, Eu and Ma worked on it (like they did with all their songs)...

And, thus, Ria was created...

It should be fairy-noted:

The people in the specific theatre weren't good to them at all.

In fact, they treated them in a very "unproffesional" way. This word, of course, was unknown to the elves, but they learnt its meaning very soon in the world of humans. So, they went through a dictionary, searching for a word that described accurately the specific behaviour of the specific human, a behaviour that they, later, encountered over and over again, in many other humans.

They cancelled one of the two scheduled performances. And they caused so many problems during the one perfomance that did take place, that one could not help wondering how it was even possible.

After the perfomance, Ma went to talk to the manager. He was using some words, though, she didn't understand. He was saying that their performance has a 500.000 Euros badget (ba... what?), while Ma, Ko and Eu had not spent any money for theirs. Therefore, there was no problem in cancelling the elves' performance three days earlier and rescheduling...

Ma tried to explain to him that they had booked only two dates, months ago and they couldn't notify every person who might be coming and that they had sent a press release (the elves had even learnt these words!) and that money is not the only thing that matters in a performance (really, why did people count it so much?) and that it's not right for her "partners" (refering to Ko and Eu as that seemed strange to her, but she was trying to speak as "humanly" as she could) and that they had dedicated many hours of rehearsing just for these two dates and that... and that... and so many "thats"... regarding the respect that the artists as well as the audience deserve...

Also, the elves love to begin on time and that day they had made them delay their only performance for over an hour!!!! And while Ma was on stage, they were having a fight in the next room and Ma forgot her words, because she was tryng to concentrate; only when she looked at Ko did she manage to carry on...

Ma was very ungry and about to cry. The manager, however, didn't seem to understand anything... he was probably thinking about that ba-something. Ma realized that there was no point. She just asked that he would put up a flier in the theatre that would inform the people that would come that the performance had been cancelled. Ko and Eu were very sad (Ko was the calmest, as ever... Eu, on the other hand, was full of sorrow... Ma grieved for this foyer...).

On that day, before she left, Ma casted one last look around the foyer (only one). She said goodbye to the place that brought Ria and the Bar of wishes into existence (since that was their first, and perhaps, their last performance. The elves didn't know then that their performance would be played somewhere else, as well). She left the theatre and said to herself:

"Today, they looked at you like you were invisible, they heard you like you couldn't be heard, talked to you like you couldn't hear them, touched you like you couldn't feel them... But you can, thankfully, feel and hear and you are more human that some humans." And she promised to herself to remember that "while I live and breath and exist I will defend respect above and beyond all else. Because respect from human to human, from elf to elf, from human to elf and from elf to human is worth much more than 500.000 Euros...
